These summaries have been compiled by students who have gone through these rotations, but they are by no means meant to be complete or to serve as instruction or to substitute for the lectures and experiences you will receive on the actual rotations. That said, they can be useful if used as guides for preparing for a given rotation.
The thought we used in putting these lists together was simply "What basic concepts had we learned by the last day of the rotation?" Obviously, for some rotations these basic concepts included some fairly detailed anatomy or pathophysiology, and other rotations were much more conceptual. Use your judgement in interpeting what you think is important - these summaries can't help but reflect our own biases and personal experiences.
Please, please, please give us feedback on anything we may have left out or anything you think is misleading, useless, confusing, or just plain wrong.
