This program is designed to display all of the colors that can be created with the six-digit hexadecimal system currently employed by Windows, and adopted by the browser manufacturers. You may remember that the six digits are broken up into three groups of 2 - the first two digits representing the degree saturation of the red component of the color, the second two digits representing the degree of saturation of the green component, and the final two digits representing the degree of saturation of the blue component.

This system is often referred to as the "RRGGBB" system - two red, two green, and two blue.

You can control the color by using the up and down buttons to modify each digit individually (you'll notice that the first digit of a group has a much greater impact than the second digit of that group, just as in the decimal system). Alternatively, you can modify each value individually by typing a new value in its box and hitting the <TAB> or <ENTER> button.

If you would like to view only the "Windows-safe" palette, you can do so by clicking here for that program.
